My 10 Ways To Secure Customer Satisfaction

As we all know customers are the core of any business in one way or the other. Without our customers, we would be nothing. So, it would be a wise decision to make sure all of our customers are properly taken care of and satisfied when they do business with us.

Listed below are ten ways we can begin to secure our customers happiness and satisfaction.

1. Always be attentive towards the customer. Be sure to listen to them when they tell you what they want or of any problems they are having with your products and/or services. Never dismiss their opinions or questions.

2. Reward regular customers and new potential customers. I like to treat my regular customers but be sure not to neglect potential and new customers. They deserve special treatment as well. Offer special discounts, free gifts, points towards more free gifts, coupons, money-saving bundles or packages, etc. The more options you provide, the more sales you will probably get.

3. Respect your customers! I cannot stress this one enough. Treat your customers, one and all, like they were your family. Give them all the respect and care they need from you and then some.

4. Earn their trust and respect! If you promise something, deliver! If you say you will give them a special deal, deliver. Always be true to your word and do not make false claims or promises. People are not stupid and they will see through deceptive marketing practices.

5. The customer is always right. Unfortunately this is not true. The customer is sometimes wrong and in that case, you should handle it properly. Be calm, polite, supportive and helpful. Explain the problem and let the customer know what you will do to rectify the situation. Your calm demeanor can sometimes calm the customer. Never lose control of your emotions.

6. Don’t make your customers feel like an annoyance. I have been to some places where the person taking care of me has acted like he/she didn’t want me there. This is not how you want your customers to feel! Talk to your customers, not at them. Smile and be friendly and courteous at all times. Just because your kids are acting up that day, it is no reason to take it out on your customers. Always separate your business from your problems in your own life.

7. Don’t make your customers jump through hoops! Make their experience with you and your business as easy and pleasant as possible. Don’t make them write their life history or click a million times to get through your ordering process. Let them know the prices and any shipping and/or taxes upfront. Make sure they know exactly what to expect.

8. Answer questions. Customers need to know what they are buying so be sure you are able to answer any and all questions they may have. If you do not have the answer readily available, assure them that you will find out the answer ASAP. Make sure they know how to contact you so they are more comfortable in your availability.

9. Build confidence. Your customers need to be confident in you and what you offer so be sure to come through. Be straightforward and do not offer anything you cannot give. Be honest at all times. Do not try to sugarcoat things by stretching or twisting the truth. Customers will appreciate honesty and their confidence in you and your business will soar.

10. A bad customer? Is there such a thing as a bad customer? Unfortunately there is. With some people, no matter what you to do try to make amends or make them happy, it just won’t be enough. All you can do with these customers is treat them with respect; be polite and let them know you will do anything you can to help.

Even so, there are times when you just have to let a customer go. After doing everything you can with no end in sight, politely inform the customer they should perhaps go elsewhere to find what they are looking for. I have had to do this a couple of times in the five years I have had my ebook store. The first time really upset me but when I came to grips with it and went over everything I did, I realized I could not have done anything more for this person. Do not let this interfere with your business or get you frustrated or depressed; it does happen.

Satisfied customers are our best advertisements so be sure to treat them all as you would want to be treated. Customers are intelligent individuals and need to be regarded as such. Doing this will bring your business to new levels!

#1 - Take a technology break before bed.

Limit your exposure to a computer screen or television before bedtime. The body produces sleep by altering its hormonal balance, which allows you to fall asleep more easily. Focusing on a computer screen or television tricks your body into thinking it's still daytime. Your body would then fail to create the proper hormones to help you fall asleep faster. It really is a good idea to turn off the computer a television at least thirty minutes before you go to bed and participate is some effortless activity during this time, like some light reading or writing in a journal.

Many people have their best ideas and thoughts right before bed. Leave a notebook beside your bed and make a note of your ideas and thoughts. As a truck driver, I utilize some of my dock time for taking a nap, it gives me the energy I need for the drive after I leave the dock.

Caffeine intake is obvious, but the adverse effects that carbohydrates make on sound, productive sleep eludes many sleep preparation strategies. With the intake of large amounts of simple sugars before bed, the body has two choices: The first is to burn the sugar for excess energy; thus, not allowing you to sleep well, and the second is to store the simple sugars as fat, causing you to gain weight. Keep your sleep-time for sleep, and your weight down, by avoiding, or at least limiting your carbohydrate intake before bed.

Sleep is not a choice, we all need to sleep—God has wired the need for sleep into each of us. For example if you aren’t exercising daily then you should start. Exercise isn’t just about looking good it’s about physically and mentally feeling good. When you exercise it creates feel good hormones in your body and that can contribute to a huge improvement after a breakup.

It can be any good habit, whatever you aren’t currently doing in your life. You can start eating right, start going to a walk every day at the park, perhaps even eating dinner with your family one night a week. Just like starting a good habit will help ending a bad habit will also help.

There’s Always Someone Else Out There: That might not be something you want to hear after a break up. You may have been really in love with this person and you can’t picture yourself being with anyone but them. But this is something that I have come to believe about life, you can love more than one person in your life. You could be in love as many as three or four times in your life, but I believe there is only one person who is your true love. Keep this in mind, if this last relationship didn’t work out than he/she wasn’t the one. They were one love in your life but they weren’t the one. Once you find that one than nothing could break that love; you two are meant to be together for the rest of your lives.

Remember there is always hope and you have a bright future ahead of you.
Just because this love didn’t work doesn’t mean you’re going to be alone for ever, far from it. Think of this ended relationship as a learning experience. Realize why the relationship ended, were mistakes made or was it just not meant to be? If mistakes were made learn from them so they aren’t made in the future. Beyonce Album Sales Will Offer 'Vindication,' Says Columbia Chairman

After reports of dissatisfaction, panic and other pre-release drama, executives at Columbia Records are feeling vindicated by the positive early returns for 's new album, "4."

"All the speculation that gets around is frustrating when it's just not true," Columbia/Epic Label Group Chairman Rob Stringer tells Billboard.com. "The story about us being unhappy with the record and stuff is just not true. There's never been any doubt or conversations about moving the record or changing it... Those conversations never existed. We're really, really happy with it."

The label is particularly pleased with sales reports from "4's" initial days of official availability. Stringer says early indications are that the album will debut at No. 1 in as many as 14 countries, including the U.S., and in the Top 3 worldwide. It went triple-platinum in Brazil on its first day of sale, while U.K. projections have it selling "well over" 90,000 copies in its first week -- which more than doubles "I Am...Sasha Fierce's" roll-out in 2008 -- and 1.6 million over its lifespan. The album's second single, "Best Thing I Never Had," is No. 1 on the U.K. iTunes charts and currently sits at No. 58 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 29 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

"The numbers are very good everywhere," Stringer notes. "We thought the record is great from the beginning, and some of the stuff that is happening now is vindication of it."

Columbia did scramble when "4's" first single, "Run the World (Girls)," leaked and was released ahead of schedule, peaking at No. 29 on the Hot 100. The album, meanwhile, leaked in full on June 7, three weeks ahead of its June 28 release date, leading to reports that "4" would be delayed and possible altered -- particularly after a tepid response from the blogosphere and a feeling that, with more than 70 songs worked on for the album, there would be ample material to create something markedly different than what was being distributed online.

"We didn't want the leaks to happen," Stringer says. "But there was never any discussion of this album moving. It has always been that date (June 28). It's been that date for four months now. There was never a conversation about pushing it back, bringing it forward, changing the songs -- none of it."

Stringer says the company is looking at an 18-month campaign for "4," which will include "extensive touring" by Beyonce. Just back from a successful overseas run that included three concerts in France and a closing-night gig at the U.K.'s Glastonbury Festival, she'll roll out a documentary, "Beyonce: Year of 4," on Thursday on MTV and BET, then perform Friday on ABC's GMA Summer Concert Series. She'll head back to the U.K. for a July 9 show at Scotland's T in the Park and a stop the next day at the Oxegen Festival in Ireland.

"The main concentration for the next few months is to get this record working everywhere," Stringer says. "She's well versed in being a global artists. The touring plan is extensive. The promo plan is extensive. We also know we're going to put out a lot of singles and...shoot a lot of videos from the record. There's enough positive information that we think we can work the record for another 18 months, and hopefully over that period we'll all be proved right that this is an important record and a commercially successful record."
